Baked yams: (whole yams to fill pot + 1 c. water + 5 mins manual + quick release)
I did my yams in two batches, as I could only fit 3 and 4 yams in, on top of the trivet, at a time. Set the magic pot to manual for 5 minutes, then quick release. The yams will not be completely cooked, but you can slip the skins easily when they are cool enough to handle. We sliced them and placed them in a 9×13 baking dish prepped with non-stick spray. We added about 1/2 c. brown sugar over the slices, and a 1/2 c. of butter slices around the top. We sprinkled pumpkin pie spice (probably about 1 T.) and some baby marshmallows, and then popped it in a 350 oven for about 25 minutes. It was yammy…I mean yummy!
